SYSTEM MODE

With HPTLC PRO, users have the choice to either operate multiple modules in a SYSTEM MODE or a single module as stand-alone. In the SYSTEM MODE, a conveyor moves the HPTLC plate from one module to the other, eliminating manual intervention between individual process steps.

Stand-alone operation

When operated as stand-alone, the HPTLC plate is inserted on the left side and ejected on the right side after processing.

HPTLC PRO Module APPLICATION

The samples are applied as bands onto the HPTLC glass plate (20 x 10 cm) with the HPTLC PRO Module APPLICATION. Up to 75 samples can be applied autonomously. Precision of the applied volume, exact positioning and sharpness of applied zones determine the quality of the final result.

HPTLC PRO Module DEVELOPMENT

The HPTLC PRO Module DEVELOPMENT, using HPTLC glass plates (20 x 10 cm), operates completely autonomously. The activity of the stationary phase can be adjusted, and the gas phase can be actively circulated during development, allowing a better separation of the analytes.

HPTLC PRO Module DERIVATIZATION

Substances without chromophores or fluorophores can be visualized by automated spraying of specific reagents onto the HPTLC glass plates (20 x 10 cm) with the HPTLC PRO Module DERIVATIZATION, controlled by visionCATS HPTLC Software. The module features an integrated plate heating unit.

HPTLC PRO Module APPLICATION

HPTLC PRO Module DETECTION

Hyperspectral data, acquired with the HPTLC PRO Module DETECTION, are used to characterize and quantify all analytes. They are obtained by using polychromatic light or specific LEDs for excitation together with an imaging spectrometer. The HPTLC Software visionCATS is used for data evaluation.

HPTLC PRO Module APPLICATION

HPTLC PRO Module MS-INTERFACE

HPTLC-MS coupling allows for verification of the chemical structure of analytes by Mass Spectrometry or offline collection for further analysis. Any position on the plate can be selected via the HPTLC Software visionCATS to be automatically eluted with the HPTLC PRO Module MS-INTERFACE.

HPTLC Pro Module PLATE STORAGE

Hosting two portable stackers for five clean and five processed HPTLC glass plates (20 x 10 cm) each, the HPTLC PRO Module PLATE STORAGE enables the autonomous operation of the HPTLC PRO SYSTEM by providing the system with clean plates and storing the processed plates during or after analysis.

  • Prerequisite for autonomous processing of up to five HPTLC plates (20 x 10 cm) in the HPTLC PRO SYSTEM
